Blank Street
We have worked with Blank Street since before they opened in the UK, building the products that run right through the business. The uniforms the team wears, the range customers buy, and the standout pieces that carry the brand through marketing activations. Merch here was never an afterthought. It was part of the plan from day one.

- A revenue stream in its own right
Blank Street treated merch as part of the brand from the very start, not a line item to add once the cafés were open. That set the brief. The same product thinking had to work across three different jobs at once. Uniforms the team actually wanted to wear, a retail range customers would pay for, and statement pieces that could carry a marketing moment. All of it had to feel like one brand, and all of it had to feel like something you would own rather than something you were handed.
We built the range to hold together across all three uses, so a uniform piece and a retail piece read as the same brand rather than two separate briefs. The everyday essentials were specified to be worn hard and often, the kind of staples that hold up shift after shift and still look right on a customer. The limited drops were where we pushed, each one treated as a reason to pay attention rather than a logo on a blank. Premium was the baseline, not the finish, which meant getting fabric, fit and detailing right before anything was branded.
Merch became a genuine part of how Blank Street makes money, not just how it markets. Customers buy the range rather than collect it as a freebie, which is the clearest sign a programme has crossed from promo into product. It still does the marketing job too. The standout pieces give activations something tactile to hand over, and the staples keep the brand in everyday rotation. From before the first UK café opened, merch has been treated as part of the brand, and it has earned that place.
